Using TCC Browser means you agree to what follows. Short, direct, no fine print.
1. What TCC Browser is
A web browser built by TCC. It covers web browsing, ad blocking,
meetings, and one optional integration — the TCC Wallet.
The software is provided free of charge. Do
not sell it, rent it, or redistribute it without our agreement.
2. You are responsible for what you do
You are responsible for what you open, download and send, and for
complying with the law.
Do not use the browser or the meeting service to break the law, harass
people, spread malware, or attack anyone else's systems.
Do not attack the meeting service: no guessing room names, no bulk room
creation, no flooding the server. An address requesting more than 30 tickets
per hour is temporarily blocked.
If you record a meeting, you must tell the people in the room. That
obligation is yours, not the software's.
3. What we are responsible for
We keep to what is written in the
Privacy Policy: no analytics, no cloud sync, no
selling data, passwords encrypted with your device's own keystore, and no holding of the
encryption keys for your meetings.
4. Third-party content
The websites you open belong to other people. We do not review them,
make no warranty about them, and take no responsibility for their content.
The ad filter lists (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe, ABPVN) are
maintained by outside groups. A filter can over-block and break a page —
turning ad blocking off in Settings restores it.
Any external service you sign into from inside the browser, such as
the TCC Wallet, has its own terms.
5. TCC Wallet and digital assets
This is where money gets lost if you are careless — read it properly.
The browser only opens the existing TCC chain web wallet. We do not
reimplement any cryptography, we do not hold your private key, and we have
no way to recover anything if you lose your key or recovery phrase.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Send to a wrong address
and it is gone.
Only sign a transaction when you understand what you are signing. Nobody
at TCC has any right to ask for your private key or recovery
phrase — anyone who asks is running a scam.
6. Meetings
Meetings do not gate entry behind accounts: while the room is open,
anyone with the link can join. That is a considered design choice, not a bug.
If you need privacy, do not spread the link, and close the room when you are
done.
Closing a room invalidates its link immediately.
The service may pause for maintenance. It carries no uptime commitment.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The software is provided "as is". We work to make it correct and safe,
but we do not warrant that it is free of defects, uninterrupted, or fit for
every purpose you may have.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising
from use of the software — lost data, lost profit, disrupted work. Keep your
own backups of anything important; for digital assets, re-read section 5.
8. Stopping
You can stop at any time: uninstalling the app is enough. To wipe your traces
first, use Settings → Clear browsing data and
Settings → Saved passwords → Delete every saved password.
We may stop meeting-service access for an account that violates section 2.
9. When these terms change
The terms ship with the copy installed on your device, so they only change
when you update the browser. The update date sits under the title. Check your
build under Settings → About this build.
